Elementos finitos híbridos com discontinuidades fortes incorporadas

Abstract

A fim de tornar os elementos finitos híbridos aplicáveis no contexto da mecânica da fratura, apresenta-se uma técnica para incorporar fissuras no interior desses elementos que permite, de maneira simples e direta, extensões para a representação de múltiplas fissuras, assim como de modos de descontinuidade não -uniformes. Apresentam-se alguns exemplos numéricos para demonstrar a eficiência da formulação, destacando-se a importância da consideração de modos de descontinuidade não -uniformes para eliminar o travamento de tensões em situações envolvendo expressiva rotação relativa entre as partes do elemento dividido pela linha de descontinuidade.
