La dimensión de Hausdorff-Besicovitch en el diseño de la banda de rodadura de neumáticos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se estudia la posibilidad de usar la dimensión de Hausdorff-Besicovitch para caracterizar los dibujos de la banda de rodadura de un neumático. Se plantea una aplicación informática que genera diseños preliminares de bandas de rodadura empleando los grupos de simetría del plano y la citada dimensión de Hausdorff-Besicovitch. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos sobre muestras reales y los generados mediante la aplicación indicando sus posibilidades para atenuar la carga experimental en el proceso de diseño de bandas de rodadura.
