Abstract

En el marco crítico producido por la demanda del aprovechamiento sostenible de los recursos, el sistema técnico industrial nutrido por materiales procedentes de fuentes minerales se presenta como un modelo prácticamente opuesto a los sistemas tradicionales, basados en los recursos que las fuentes orgánicas pueden limitadamente proveer, limitación causada por la restricción del territorio como captador de la energía solar, la única fuente capaz de sostener la producción de la biosfera. A medida que la futura escasez de las fuentes minerales y, sobre todo, los efectos ambientales de los residuos que su uso genera, nos obliguen a desarrollarnos de nuevo sobre las fuentes orgánicas, nuestros esfuerzos teóricos y prácticos deberán dirigirse hacia la gestión de la mencionada limitación, hacia el adecuado manejo del territorio y de los recursos que produce.

En el marc crític produït per la demanda de l'aprofitament sostenible dels recursos, el sistema tècnic industrial nodrit per materials procedents de fonts minerals es presenta com un model pràcticament oposat als sistemes tradicionals, basats en els recursos que les fonts orgàniques poden limitadament proveir, limitació causada per la restricció del territori com a captador de l'energia solar, l'única font capaç de sostenir la producció de la biosfera. A mesura que la futura escassesa de les fonts minerals i, sobretot, els efectes ambientals dels residus que el seu ús genera, ens obliguin a desenvolupar-nos de nou sobre les fonts orgàniques, els nostres esforços teòrics i pràctics hauran de dirigir-se cap a la gestió de l'esmentada limitació, cap a l'adequada gestió del territori i dels recursos que produeix.
