Políticas de desarrollo energético rural

Abstract

La pobreza energética de los países del Sur se ha agravado durante los últimos años. Sus políticas energéticas durante las dos últimas décadas han estado orientadas principalmente a unas reformas del sector eléctrico que han atraído inversiones del extranjero, cuya prioridad no es universalizar el servicio, sino la rentabilidad económica. Ante esta realidad, desde hace algunos años los gobiernos, así como las agencias multilaterales y bilaterales, están desarrollando y promoviendo estrategias específicas de electrificación rural, que tienen en cuenta la eliminación de barreras.

La pobresa energètica dels països del Sud s'ha agreujat durant els últims anys. Les seves polítiques energètiques durant les dos últimes dècades han estat orientades principalment a unes reformes del sector elèctric que han atret inversions de l'estranger, la prioritat de les quals no és universalitzar el servei, sinó la rendibilitat econòmica. Davant d'esta realitat, des de fa alguns anys els governs, així com les agències multilaterals i bilaterals, estan desenvolupant i promovent estratègies específiques d'electrificació rural, que tenen en compte l'eliminació de barreres.
