Abstract

Telhas de aço formadas a frio são aplicadas em fechamentos e coberturas nos mais variados tipos de estruturas de Engenharia. A união entre a telha a estrutura se dá através de terças de fixação. Já a vinculação entre as telhas normalmente é feita através do simples trespasse das bordas de unidades adjacentes, mas pode ocorrer através do trespasse com rebites. Muitas vezes, tornar-se difícil avaliar a influência das condições de contorno na rigidez deste tipo de sistema. Assim, neste trabalho, propõe-se avaliar a performance estrutural de telhas de AC formadas a frio de perfil trapezoidal sob diferentes configurações de vinculação das bordas, determinando seus modos e suas freqüências naturais de vibração para cada caso. Para esse fim, realizase um estudo teórico e experimental, buscando evidenciar a capacidade do método proposto de descrever o comportamento estrutural das telhas trapezoidais. O modelo teórico é realizado utilizando o Método dos Elementos Finitos. Resolvendo-se uma Análise Modal através de um problema de autovalores é possível determinar os modos e as freqüências naturais de vibração de interesse. A comparação dos resultados teóricos detalhada, comparando-se os diferentes casos, levou às conclusões de que a vinculação das bordas não afeta a rigidez global da telha. Em contrapartida, a grau de vinculação das bordas determina diretamente a rigidez em alguns pontos da telha.
