ATT UTMANA MAKTEN: NATIONELL KONFERENS FÖR GENUSFORSKNING Umeå 26-28 november 2014

Abstract

Sveriges största genusforskarkonferens, g14, hålls i Umeå 26-28 november 2014. g14 är 2014 års upplaga av den nationella konferensen för svensk genusforskning som sker vartannat år. Årets konferens centreras kring ledorden makt, kunskap och kritik. Vad är makt? Vad innebär feministisk kunskap? Hur bidrar genusvetenskapen till kritiska granskningar och problematiseringar, både inom och utanför akademin? Syftet med konferensen är att utmana makten på olika sätt och från olika perspektiv. På konferensen hoppas vi också kunna ägna oss åt villkoren i akademin, frågor som Nationella sekretariatet för genusforskning och Svenska genusforskarförbundet bevakar. Dessutom återfinns i programmet flertalet kritiska paneler som granskar genusvetenskapen utifrån postkoloniala, anti-rasistiska och samiska perspektiv.
