Abstract

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur rektorer och förskolelärare förhåller sig till och samarbetar med varandra utifrån rollernas beskrivna ansvar i läroplanen att på olika sätt leda i utbildningen för barnen. Ett särskilt fokus för studien är hur rektorer och förskolelärare förhåller sig till och hanterar det avstånd som råder mellan dem utifrån att rektorerna ansvarar för flera förskolor. Teori: Studien utgår från ett legitimitetsperspektiv (Suddaby, Bitektine & Haack (2017) för att visa hur rektorer och förskolelärare har, skapar och uppfattar varandras legitimitet i det gemensamma arbetet. Vidare används institutionell teori (Meyer och Rowan, 1977) för att se om det finns olika normer och myter kring förskolan och rollerna som påverkar dem i deras arbete. Slutligen granskas hur rektorer och förskolelärare påverkas av rektorernas ledarskap på avstånd från verksamheten (Antonakis och Atwater, 2002). Metod: Studien har genomförts med semistrukturerade intervjuer, i vilka fem rektorer och nio förskolelärare har intervjuats kring deras samarbete och hur detta påverkas av rektorernas ledarskap på avstånd från verksamheten. Detta har ställts i relation till förskolans läroplan och formuleringarna kring rollernas ansvar att på olika sätt leda i utbildningen. (Skolverket a, 2022). Resultat: Studien visade att det inte finns något samarbete mellan rektorer och förskolelärare utifrån antagandet om att formuleringarna i läroplanen skapar ett behov av samarbete mellan rollerna för att nå måluppfyllelse. Det lyftes olika interna och externa påverkansfaktorer vilka gör att det inte är möjligt för rektorer och förskolelärare att samarbeta.
