Feliu Formosa's work as a poetry translator is linked in the early days to his active participation in stage performances that used poetic texts, but soon becomes an autonomous force leading him to publish versions of poets like Bertolt Brecht and Georg Trakl. On the other hand, his poetry translations intimately intertwine with his own works as a prominent poet in the Catalan lyrical panorama of the Seventies. This paper analyses the points of contact between Feliu Formosa's Brecht and Trakl versions, but also versions of other poets such as Goethe and Kandinsky, and the books of poetry that he has been publishing throughout his literary career
