L'auteur présente le Pin brutia, arbre typiquement méditerrranéo-oriental. Dans la 1ère partie, cette espèce est étudiée au plan taxonomique, géographique, écologique et phytosociologique. Dans la 2ème partie, ce sont les aspects forestiers qui sont abordés : peuplements, aménagement, traitement, qualité des produits. Cet article est la 1ère monographie complète du Pin brutia.
