[Strengthen the study of the ocular surface reconstruction].

Abstract

Serious ocular surface damage caused by chemical and thermal burn has the characteristics of wide prevalence of the population, high blinding rate and hard to treat. Ocular surface reconstruction is an effective management in treating damaged ocular surface, but there still exist some common misunderstanding including inappropriate surgery time, incorrect surgical design, mixed basic conception of ocular surface and iatrogenic damage during operation. To analyze the problems existed in China, address new conception of the ocular surface reconstruction, and matter needing attention during operation and individual treatment.
