Abstract

Despite the fact that about a year and a half have passed since the crisis in the Middle East region in June 2017 under the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the crisis is still ongoing. The crisis has had important consequences in terms of the literature of international relations, for the countries of the region and for Qatar. The natural resources of Qatar, which is the shining country of the Gulf, and the current conjuncture have enabled it to withstand this crisis, while the crisis has allowed Qatar to learn from the past by underlining its weaknesses. On the other hand, anti-Qatar bloc countries, which have been putting serious pressure on Qatar, have also suffered from this crisis. Because of the geopolitical position of Qatar, even if the crisis ends, careful calculating of benefits, creating urgent action plans that can be put into practice in possible crises, establishing alliances with foreign countries to reduce its "vulnerability" by increasing interdependence are crucial for Qatar.
