Abstract

Se llevó a cabo un estudio geofísico en la Zona Centro Ibérica del Macizo Ibérico dentro de la provincia de Cáceres en Extremadura. Para este fin se utilizó información cartográfica y geofísica de dominio público con el fin de dar un primer acercamiento sobre la caracterización geofísica de los granitos aflorantes y los principales indicios minerales reportados de los minerales de uranio, estaño y wolframio en esta zona. Para llevar a cabo esta caracterización, se realizó un análisis cualitativo de las mallas geofísicas resultantes de cada señal. Además, se llevó a cabo un análisis estadístico utilizando un código en lenguaje de programación Python empleando los diagramas de cajas y bigotes para representar cuantitativamente los rangos promedios de interés tanto de los cuerpos intrusivos, como de los indicios mineros reportados en la zona de estudio. Este procedimiento se hizo con el fin de resaltar qué rango de datos se sitúan los indicios y en que otras áreas dentro de los granitos se pudiesen encontrar valores similares que puedan significar la posibilidad de tener un nuevo área de interés exploratorio.
