Abstract

En la presente tesis se han examinado 1.382 peces de acuario, pertenecientes a 57 especies procedentes de Singapur, países de Sudamérica y Nigeria, recogidos en acuarios de madrid durante los años 1990 - 93. Encontrándose una prevalencia por protozoos del 16,78%. Identificándose 22 especies, de las que una de ellas pertenece a los dinoflagelados: piscinodinium pillulare. Cinco a los sarcomastigofora: spironucleus elegans, hexamita salmonis, retortamonas sp., Trichomitus sp. Quince a los mixosporidios: myxobolus dispar, m. Sachalinensis, m. Carassii, myxobolus sp.1, myxidium batae, m. Ophiocephali, myxidium sp.1, myxidium sp.2, zschokkella cyprini, hennequya sp.1, hennequya sp.2, henneguya sp. 3, henneguya sp. 4, henneguya sp. 5, henneguya sp. 6. Una a los apicomplejos: goussia sp. Y una a los ciliados: ichthyophthirius multifiliis. Presentaban una parasitación por platelmitos 244 ejemplares, lo cual representa una prevalencia del 17,65 %. Se han identificado cinco especies de monogeneas: gyrodactylus medius, dactylogyrus intermedius, dactylogyrus baueri, gussevia sp. Y cleidodiscus sp. Dos especies de trematodos adultos: sanguinicola sp. Y deropegus sp. Dos tipos demetacercarias: de echinostomatides y de strigeoidea. Cuatro especies de cestodos: monticelia sorubim, y dos especies sin confirmar de pseudophyllidea, asi como, plerocercoides de vermaia sp. Se ha identificado también cistacantos de quadrigyrus, con una prevalencia del 0,21%. Estaban parasitados por nematodos 18 ejemplares, lo cual representa una prevalencia del 1,30%. Las especies encontradas fueron: camallanus moraveci, camallanus cotti, procamallanus (spirocamallanoides) sp., Procamallanus (spirocamallanus) sp. Y capillaria pterophylli. Por ultimo se han identificado 2 especies de crustáceos parásitos: lernaea cyprinacea y dermoergasilus sp. El numero de ejemplares parasitados fue de 8, lo cual representa una prevalencia del 0,578%. Se describen un total de 16 especies nuevas y 4 nuevas citas de hospedador
