Regímenes cuasiestacionarios de ozono superficial en las Islas Canarias

Abstract

El trabajo desarrollado en esta tesis doctoral analiza las concentraciones y variaciones típicas de las concentraciones de ozona troposférico en las islas canarias. A partir del establecimiento de una nueva estación de registro de ozono en la isla de gran canaria. Los estudios realizados abarcan desde el estudio comparativo de los registros obtenidos con estaciones situadas en latitudes similares, al estudio de las variaciones periódicas y aperiodicas de este gas y su relación con factores externos meteorológicos. Para el análisis de los comportamientos no periódicos de la serie de ozono, se ha desarrollado una técnica matemática basada en el principio de similitud de Lorenz. Esta nueva técnica ha permitido la determinación de la existencia de regímenes cuasiestacionarios a escala sinóptica en el comportamiento de las concentraciones de ozono registradas.
