Abstract

Estudio de la respuesta inmune al polisacarido capsular de neisseria meningitidis grupo b, como posible candidato a una vacuna para este importante patógeno bacteriano, a través del desarrollo de nuevos metodos que posibiliten tanto una mayor sensibilidad y especificidad para la medida de anticuerpos antipolisacaridos b, como una correlación con la actividad funcional de los mismos: la activación de complemento para ello se desarrolló un sistema de marcaje selectivo del polisacarido con biotina, y una serie de formatos alternativos al elisa tradicional
