Estudio de la influencia de los cationes Pb+ y CS+ en la conformación de la polivinilpirrolidona

Abstract

El objetivo de esta memoria ha sido estudiar el comportamiento termodinamico de la polivinilpirrolidona en las mezclas agua/pb2+ y cs+ en función de la composición del cation metálico, a las temperaturas 25, 30 y 37 c. Las técnicas experimentales utilizadas han sido la viscosimetria, refractometria diferencial y, en menor medida, la difusión de luz a láser, lo que permitió concluir: 1) las determinaciones viscosimetricas y su variación en funcion de la composición del cation permite poner en evidencia la existencia de transiciones conformacionales en la pvp. 2) la aplicación de las teorías de "bruchard-stockmayer-fixman" y de "kurata-stockmayer-roig" permiten cuantificar la magnitud del fenómeno y su localización. 3) el parámetro intermolecular b muestra variaciones debidas al cambio conformaciones. 4) la ecuación de katime et al se aplica perfectamente a los resultados experimentales, tanto para el pb2+ como para el cs+ en todo el intervalo de composicion estudiado y para las tres temperaturas. 5) existe una relación única entre log(k/kzita) y (a-0.5) si se emplean los valores actuales de kzita. 6) la refractometria permite detectar la existencia de transiciones conformacionales en polímeros disueltos en sistemas binarios.
