Corrosión del cobre en medio ácido y su inhibisión mediante compuestos cíclicos nitrogenados

Abstract

Se ha estudiado la corrosión del cobre y su inhibición con los ácidos clorhídrico; sulfúrico y cítrico; utilizando siete concentraciones: Desde 0,001 M a 0,1 MY a cuatro temperaturas 298,308,318 y 328 K. Se han estudiado cuatro inhibidores: fucsina ácida, fucsina básica, fast green y benzotriazolen el intervalo de 0,00001 M hasta 0,1 M. Las técnicas de trabajo han sido la gravimetría corriente continua y la corriente alterna. Se han analizado las isotermas de adsorción más utilizadas en los estudios de inhibición de la corrosión obteniendo la mejor aproximación para la isoterma de Frumkin. Por último se complementa el estudio con el cálculo del área basado en modelos moleculares. Para ello se determinó el área proyectada por las moléculas de inhibidor para elucidar la posible orientación del inhibidor
