La digitalización musical de partituras

Abstract

El presente trabajo versa sobre la digitalización musical de partituras y toda la problemática que conlleva. Muestra, por un lado, un enfoque teórico sobre qué es y en qué consiste la digitalización musical, cuál es su historia, los principales programas que se usan para codificar partituras (MusicXML y MEI), las instituciones más importantes, tanto internacionales como nacionales, que están llevando a cabo proyectos de digitalización musical de partituras, así como todos los problemas que surgen a la hora de digitalizar una partitura. Por otro lado, este trabajo contiene una propuesta práctica en cuanto a la digitalización de una partitura mediante MusicXML y MEI con el programa Sublime Text, propuesta que se concreta en una página web creada por la autora con HTML, Bootstrap y CSS. Así, este trabajo trata también de concienciar al lector sobre la importancia de la digitalización musical para la investigación musicológica y para la creación de partituras que aún no han visto la luz y pueden resultar de interés para intérpretes y estudiosos. Y es que un perfil musicológico y tecnológico no es algo que abunde en nuestro país, por lo que varias instituciones tienen numerosos problemas a la hora de llevar a cabo proyectos de tal envergadura por falta de personal especializado.
