Abstract

Los sitios web de los partidos políticos españoles muestran un diferente grado de aprovechamiento de los cuatro puntos cardinales que caracterizan el ciberespacio: la hipertextualidad, la multimedialidad, la interactividad y la actualización. En un contexto en el que la convergencia tecnológica ha provocado la posibilidad de ofrecer no sólo recursos cada vez más diversos en este tipo de páginas web, sino también nuevas herramientas para el enriquecimiento de la información, los partidos políticos han de considerar y aprovechar estas nuevas tendencias. Estudios como el presente son necesarios, para confirmar el grado de aprovechamiento de estos aspectos, ya que permiten apuntar las tendencias y los caminos a seguir por los partidos políticos en el ámbito de la comunicación digital en los próximos años.
