Abstract

La presente investigación parte de la polisemia que contienen las palabras presentes en el título: la ficción paranoica. En el campo de los estudios hispanoamericanos, debemos su popularidad a Ricardo Piglia, especialmente a partir del seminario dictado en la Universidad de Buenos Aires en 1991 y titulado “La ficción paranoica. Formas del género policial en América Latina”. En él, el escritor argentino traza una genealogía en la tradición latinoamericana de una serie de manifestaciones del género policíaco en las que predomina una hermenéutica de la sospecha —basada, fundamentalmente, en los delirios de persecución y sobreinterpretación— y una conciencia paranoica ubicada en la figura del narrador, que imprime un acceso parcial a los hechos. No obstante, el término paranoid fiction también ha sido utilizado por la crítica académica estadounidense para referirse a una serie de narrativas en las que la paranoia se convierte en un eje central del relato, si bien en este caso se centran más en trastornos de percepción o en aspectos socioculturales, y no tanto en la cuestión del género literario como sí hace Ricardo Piglia...
