Pensament computacional: construïm, aprenent i ensenyem jugant

Abstract

This Final Master's Project is a teaching unit design, for 1st of ESO students, based on the development of different skills and content fields: scientific-technological, mathematical, linguistic, digital and personal and social fields. The designed teaching unit tries to help students to build a solid conception of computational thinking, using flowcharts as a universal problem-solving tool. The designed teaching unit is about a technological project development and its technical memory, working on cooperative teams. The project is about the construction of a large-scale matching game to hang on the wall of a local elementary school. Along the unit, different learning methodologies have been interspersed: cooperative learning, project-based learning, game-based learning, flipped classroom and service- learning. All these methodologies have been used in order to maximize the student learning process and trying to respect and attend all diversities.
