Abstract

Des que som petits que sentim un gust innat per les paraules. Ens agrada escoltar històries i aportar el nostre punt de vista. Aquest interès és bàsic per aprendre una llengua estrangera, sobretot a edats primerenques, com és Cicle Inicial. És per això que els mestres podem aprofitar-ho, tot configurant un aprenentatge significatiu pels alumnes entorn allò que els agrada, el que ja coneixen o el que mostren interès per descobrir. Els beneficis que els infants adquireixen a partir d’aquesta pràctica són extensos i molt diversos, tan lingüístics com personals, i és a partir d’activitats específiques que s’aconsegueix millorar el seu desenvolupament. Per tal que aquesta pràctica sigui veritablement profitosa a l’aula cal que el professor mostri una implicació i interès per descobrir com són els seus alumnes i de quina manera podrien millorar a partir de la narració d’històries; així com didàctiques específiques per a ser un gran narrador. Així mateix, també s’intenta guiar al lector en la tria d’un bon llibre a explicar.

Since we born we feel a great joy from words. We all like listening stories and be able to add and share our point of view with those who surround us. To learn a new language is basic to feel this interest, specially for young learners as children from Cicle Inicial are. Therefore, teachers must take advantage of it to create a meaningful learning, taking into account what children like, what they already knew and what they feel involved in and interested in learning more. The children acquire a large and diverse list of benefits, these are linguistics and personals, from specific activities that help them improving their development. In order to acquire these storytelling benefits it’s important to create a worthwhile experience thus teachers should engage on it, knowing their students and applying new ways or strategies to improve their teaching as well as put into practice resources to be a great narrator. Parallel that, this work tries to guide the reader with his book’s selection to practice the storytelling.
