Technology transfer and knowledge creation are paths that can enhance the competitiveness of multinational companies. International technology transfer (ITT) offers both challenges and opportunities to both developed and developing countries. Developed countries can obtain a wider market place for their surplus producing power by transferring technology, whilst developing countries can acquire innovation frameworks, advanced technology and knowledge to stimulate economic growth and sustainability.
