Spor sosyolojisi ve Türk futbolunda iktidar sorunu

Abstract

VI SUMMARY This thesis takes in hand the sport sociology and creation of power of football in such sociology under the scope of significance of body, and its place in the society and Turkey example under the scope of it relation with universal plans. In line with the assertion that cultural, economical and political events can not considered separately, liquid, changeable, non-central and plural quality of power(s) as mentioned in Foucaultist approach which took place in plans applied on the body are stressed. Turn up of football in sport world, and the processes it passed through until it gained today's meaning are examined taking into consideration the economical, political and social background; universal points in change and transition both for society and football/sports are underlined. Parallel development of Turkish football whit universal application, approach to thesports during late Ottoman times and the Republic of Turkey - in frame of policies applied parallel to the `modernization` aim - are examined. i It is materialized under sport sociology that why football take more interest than other sports and power circles took place in different areas of society, howe they articulated with governors of the world and howe resistance is took place against such. It is stressed that such polarization is not different, to the contrary, that it is transitive - whether the government of dominant classes or the anti - government of resistive circles; and the place of actors sharing the power, the interact between them and their articulation is discussed in the example of Turkey.
