Bazal hücreli deri kanseri subtipleri ile ABO kan grubu antijenleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi= Relationships between basal cell skin cancer subtypes and abo blood group antigens

Abstract

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of malignant tumor among skin cancers. Incidence of basal cell carcinoma increases each year. Different factors along with ABO blood groups play role in the formation of BCCs . Many studies investigated the relationship between ABO blood groups and various malignant tumors. Our aim was to investigate the potential role of ABO blood groups in the differentiation of BCC's into different subtypes. A retrospective analysis of 313 consequtive patients with BCC's who were treated at Mersin University Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic between the years of 2008 to 2014 was performed and included in this study. Patients were evaluated for the localization of the lession, gender, histologic type and development of secondary lessions over time. It was found that, nodular subtype was more frequent in A blood type and basosquamous subtype was more frequent in 0 blood type patients, in a statistically significant manner. The frequency of secondary lessions was increased in a statistically significant manner among patients with AB blood type or morpheaform type BCC. Again a statistically significant increase in the occurance of gorlin syndrome was found in patients with A blood type.

İnsidansı her yıl artış göstermektedir. A kan grubuna sahip kişilerde gorlin sendromu sıklığının arttığı görüldü.
