Análisis de la transferencia de masa de oxígeno para sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales a 3820 msnm

Abstract

El sistema estudiado se realizó en Puno, en el laboratorio de Control de calidad de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, es la aereación en difusor cerámico de poro fino con 20 L de agua, se desarrollaron 28 pruebas; los ensayos se realizaron en agua limpia y con la presencia de principales contaminantes de aguas residuales domesticas (aceite, detergentes y solidos suspendidos). para aplicar al diseño de Sistemas de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales urbanas a 3820 msnm. Los datos se procesaron por el método de regresión no lineal ajustada en el algoritmo de Gauss Newton, se calculo los coeficientes de transferencia de masa según los modelos de la American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) y de dos zonas, hallando el factor alfa de las aguas analizadas bajo estas condiciones. El modelo ASCE presenta mayor acercamiento (KLa = 3,41 h-1 hasta 9,13 h-1) y el de dos zonas expresa mayor comprensión física del proceso de transferencia (KLSaS = 0,276 h-1 y KLBaB = 6,174 h-1) ya que presenta soluciones menos complejas, con los resultados se realizaron las correlaciones concluyendo que el coeficiente en la zona media es mayor respecto a la superficial y que los dos guardan correspondencia al incrementar el flujo de aire, además la temperatura afecta en forma idéntica a los coeficiente en ambas zonas, la presencia de contaminantes disminuye el coeficiente de transferencia, notando que la presencia de detergente genera mayor perturbación en la zona superficial. Las correlaciones realizadas fueron en general muy buenas (r >= 0.99), concluyendo que pueden ser utilizadas para desarrollo de sistemas de tratamiento más eficientes a condiciones de altitud.
