Abstract

El estudio se realizó en el Departamento de Puno, Perú; en las instalaciones del laboratorio de Biología de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas durante los meses de Octubre a Diciembre del 2012, con el fin de elaborar compost a partir de residuos orgánicos domésticos y Lenteja de agua (Lemna spp.) aplicando microorganismos eficaces (EM) a tres dosis (0, 100 y 200 mi) se evaluó el tiempo de descomposición y granulometría, temperatura, pH, nitrógeno, fósforo, potasio y sodio. Se utilizó el análisis de varianza y la prueba de rango múltiple. Los resultados muestran que el tiempo de descomposición a 75 días· fue la lenteja de agua; 50 días los residuos sólidos ambos con 200 ml de EM. La granulometría indica un 75 a 90% de gránulos con diámetros 0.05); con 200 ml de EM. El pH de lenteja de agua 6.5, residuos orgánicos 6.4 similares entre si (P>0.05). Para las dosis de EM, pH neutros y similares entre si (P>0.05), nitrógeno, fósforo y potasio no se encontró diferencia estadística (P>0.05), para sodio total la lenteja de agua presenta un valor superior al de los residuos orgánicos. Nitrógeno 0.33% a 200 ml de EM, estadísticamente superior al resto de dosis (P0.05). Sodio presentan promedios similares 662.5 y 725.0 respectivamente, 100 y 200 ml de EM.
