En este tesis se exploran las posibilidades de obtener mejoras en la dureza en tres tipos diferentes de sistemas de multicapa: TiN/AlN, TiN/NbN y TiN/TaN, producidos por la técnica bias-dc magnetron sputtering en las mismas condiciones de deposición. La estructura de las múltiples capas y su composición química fueron confirmadas por GDOES (Espectroscopia de Emisión Óptica en Descarga Luminosa). Se muestran también análisis químicos complementarios por AES y EDS. La estructura cristalina de las capas componentes se estudió mediante XRD (difracción de rayos X). La microdureza se midió mediante el uso de un microdurómetro Vickers clásico y SEM (Microscopía Electrónica de Barrido), así como, por nanoindentación. La corriente de corrosión se determinó por método de extrapolación Tafel.
In this thesis we explore the possibilities to obtain hardness enhancement in three different types of multilayer system: TiN/AlN, TiN/NbN and TiN/TaN, produced by bias-dc magnetron sputtering under the same deposition conditions.
