Autoestima y clima motivacional de clase en estudiantes del V ciclo de educación básica regular de una Institución Educativa Pública de Ventanilla-Callao

Abstract

Esta investigación se realizó con el propósito de determinar la relación entre la autoestima y el clima motivacional de clase. La investigación es de tipo básica y el diseño es descriptivo correlacional. Se utilizaron como instrumentos el inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith para escolares (2007), y la escala de clima motivacional de clase de Centeno (2008). La muestra estuvo constituida por 125 estudiantes, de 10 a 13 años de edad del V ciclo de Educación Básica Regular de una institución educativa pública de Ventanilla Callao. Los resultados evidenciaron que existe relación entre ambas variables, concluyendo que a mayor nivel de autoestima existe mayor motivación en los niños y niñas durante la clase. Además se comprobó la relación existente entre las dimensiones de autoestima: A sí mismo general, social pares, hogar padres y escuela, con el clima motivacional de clase.
