Confiance et légitimité en information et communication de santé

Abstract

La question de la confiance est cruciale dans le domaine de la santé. D’abord, parce que la santé est révélatrice d’enjeux particulièrement forts que ce soit au niveau sociétal, réglementaire, institutionnel ou à titre individuel ; ensuite, parce que les frontières entre informations spécialisées et validées par des instances légitimes (institutions, professionnels) et informations non validées sont devenues perméables ; enfin, parce qu’elle apparaît comme centrale au sein même des relations entre acteurs du domaine (professionnels, patients, pouvoirs publics, entreprises,…). La question de la confiance est d’ailleurs le plus souvent traitée du point de vue de la relation entre patients et professionnels de santé ou entre les usagers et leur système de santé. Ici, nous proposons d’aborder la confiance du point de vue des phénomènes d’information et de communication qui sont à l’œuvre dans le secteur de la santé, et de nous intéresser au processus de construction de la légitimité des informations de santé.
