Les guerres culturelles aux États-Unis

Abstract

Près de vingt-cinq ans après la parution de l’ouvrage fondateur de James Davison Hunter Culture Wars: The Struggle to Define America (1991), cette journée d’étude se propose de revisiter le concept de « guerre culturelle » aux Etats-Unis. Cette journée d’étude est donc l’occasion de repenser le concept de guerre culturelle aux Etats-Unis, et l’on s’interrogera sur la persistance de ce phénomène aujourd’hui, tout en prenant en compte son évolution éventuelle et la nécessité d’une redéfinition.
