Séminaire « Genre et classes populaires » (2015-2016)
Abstract

En étudiant le quotidien et l’ordinaire des activités sociales les plus diverses (allaiter, fumer, travailler chez soi, etc.), mais aussi la façon dont la routine est bousculée par l’évènement, le séminaire cherchera ainsi à retrouver un sens plus positif de la notion de routine : celle de savoir-faire intériorisé, parfois jusqu’à l’automatisme, acquis par la pratique et par l’expérience. La notion renvoie alors aux apprentissages souvent invisibles, aux processus d’incorporation du social, non pas seulement comme norme mais aussi comme compétence, comme savoir-agir et savoir-être, et donc aussi comme possibilité d’action. N’est-ce-pas précisément dans le quotidien que se cachent les marges de manœuvre et les petits détournements des normes sociales que le séminaire cherche à identifier depuis plusieurs années ?
