Architectes cinéastes, cinéastes architectes

Abstract

Ces journées d’études ont pour but d’aborder deux figures hybrides de la création contemporaine : l’architecte-cinéaste, qui emprunte au cinéma pour enrichir son approche de l’architecture, et le cinéaste-architecte, qui après des études d’architecture ou après s’être engagé professionnellement dans cette voie, se tourne vers le cinéma. L’influence du cinéma sur la pensée et la création en architecture, l’appréhension et l’intégration du dispositif et de l’écriture cinématographique par l’architecte méritent d’être réévaluées, ainsi que la place de l’architecture dans les pratiques cinématographiques. En quoi ces démarches, dont il s’agit d’évaluer l’importance et le sens, inventent-elles de nouveaux devenirs pour l’architecture et le cinéma ?
