Abstract

Si les principes du développement durable cherchaient initialement à orienter les manières de faire dans le domaine de l’environnement, la nécessité d’un développement présent garantissant la capacité des générations futures à satisfaire leurs besoins a rapidement mis en évidence le lien intrinsèque entre les territoires de l’écologique, du social et de l’économique. Puisque le développement durable implique avant tout un changement profond des stratégies dans les différentes aires d’action de ces domaines, il devient impératif d’investiguer les approches organisationnelles informationnelles, communicationnelles et documentaires à l’œuvre ou en proposer de nouvelles qui soient aptes à soutenir les efforts déployés par les structures de tout milieu – institutionnel ou corporatif, afin d’assurer leur développement actuel, sans compromettre leur avenir ou celui des individus ou des collectivités.
