Abstract

Le fichier. Le vocable peut apparaître archaïque au regard de l’évolution technologique. Pourtant, son actualité est incontournable : les fichiers de la NSA, de la police française, tels EDVIGE ou Christina, des grandes multinationales de l’internet, comme Google, Amazon, ou Facebook, l’illustrent notamment. En matérialisant une volonté de collecte systématique et structurée de données, le fichier est en réalité immémorial, symbolisant un désir d’omniscience et de maîtrise par l’information. Le colloque, prévu pour juin 2015 à l’université d’Orléans, propose une réflexion collective sur ces différents points, à travers une approche transdisciplinaire alliant droit, sciences politiques, sociologie, philosophie, histoire…
