L’élève acteur ?

Abstract

Attention : journée annulée en raison des conditions climatiques. L’ « éducation nouvelle » a plus d’un siècle ! Depuis la fin du XIXe, on la voit surtout s’inventer, se développer, se diffuser en « marge » des institutions scolaires d’État. Pourtant, l’analyse historique montre qu’elle a nourri, travaillé et finalement parfois transformé ces institutions. C’est ce double processus, complexe, de marginalisation et d’intégration que les participants de cette journée se proposent d’interroger. Il importera en particulier de repérer les indices de porosité, les formes de transfert, les types d’accommodement entre les idées et expériences de l’« éducation nouvelle » et les institutions scolaires. L’originalité de cette journée d’étude repose sur le principe d’une rencontre. Des chercheurs poseront des jalons de cette histoire de l’« éducation nouvelle » enchevêtrée dans l’histoire de l’école ; et des enseignants, acteurs de l’ « éducation nouvelle », rendront compte de leurs parcours, de leurs pratiques et de leurs analyses.
