Temporalités et action publique

Abstract

Les liens entre temporalités et action publique peuvent être abordés sous deux angles bien différents. Le premier insistera sur le champ des sciences sociales que représente l’action publique. Ce champ qui est à la fois disciplinaire et pluridisciplinaire, est aujourd’hui largement constitué et internationalisé. Sous ce premier angle, le problème des temporalités est redevenu un élément central dans l’analyse des politiques publiques, des actions des citoyens et des gouvernants. Le deuxième angle considère l’action publique non pas comme un champ, mais comme un objet d’analyse qui permet d’étudier les temporalités, dont le statut peut même être parfois considéré comme secondaire au regard d’autres objets comme l’économie, le langage, le droit, la santé et l’espace.
