Abstract

Fondé en 2008 à Toulouse, le Réseau européen pour l’histoire de l’enseignement du droit (XIXe-XXIe siècles) s’est donné pour mission de coordonner et de fédérer la recherche menée sur l’histoire contemporaine des facultés de droit. Réunissant des chercheurs travaillant sur l’espace européen, son objet, initialement consacré à l’histoire des facultés de droit de province au XIXe siècle, s’est progressivement élargi à l’ensemble les facultés du début du XIXe siècle au début du XXIe siècle. Soucieux de promouvoir une histoire sociale, culturelle et institutionnelle de la science juridique, le réseau souhaite également contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des débats actuels sur l’enseignement du droit dans le cadre de la réforme de l’université française.
