Abstract

Le jeu a toujours fait débat : Aristote le condamne tout en lui reconnaissant le mérite de distraire, alors que Schiller considère que « l’homme n’est tout à fait homme que là où il joue ». Pendant que les philosophes débattent, les hommes jouent bien sûr. Qui sont les joueurs? D’où viennent leurs jeux? Dans une approche transversale, historiens et ludologues, philosophes et psychiatres se pencheront sur le phénomène ludique et sur les discours qu’il suscite. Journée organisée à l’occasion de l’exposition Jeux de princes, jeux de vilains, qui se tient à la Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal du 17 mars au 21 juin 2009.
