Abstract

L'École réunit acteurs et analystes de l’évaluation pour réfléchir aux enjeux et difficultés spécifiques de l’évaluation dans le secteur des sciences humaines et sociales. Les premiers rapports de l’AERES, la mise en œuvre de la Loi sur la Liberté et Responsabilités des Universités et la publication du rapport Attali conduisent à reconsidérer les besoins et les modalités de l’évaluation. Comment évaluer l’enseignement et la recherche en sciences humaines et sociales en créant les conditions pour qu’émergent des travaux novateurs ? Comment envisager la relation entre les approches quantitatives et qualitatives de la production scientifique? À quelles conditions l’évaluation permet-elle de mieux définir des orientations dans un milieu ? Comment éviter les dérives d’un pilotage extérieur déstructurant ?
