Abstract

Les articles réunis dans ce numéro devront s’interroger sur les transformations des frontières de l’action collective et des mouvements sociaux. Cette question s’exprime selon deux axes : la définition de l’objet mouvement social elle-même et les changements d’échelle et d’ancrage territoriaux qui caractérisent les mouvements protestataires contemporains. Ces deux phénomènes se conjuguent pour faire des frontières des mouvements sociaux une question empirique et non plus une donnée immuable. Se poser la question de déplacement et de la multiplication des points d’entrée dans le politique et dans l’action collective, c’est militer en faveur d’une programmation empirique de recherche qui vise à éclairer ce que les acteurs construisent.
