La performance au prisme du langage dans les arts

Abstract

Le présent appel à publication porte sur une approche de la performance permettant à la fois de considérer les pratiques artistiques au prisme du matériau langagier, dans leur accomplissement langagier et interactionnel, et d’appréhender les pratiques langagières, en tant que matière plastique et esthétique, ressource de travail pour les artistes, mais aussi en tant que médium pour parler des œuvres d’art et de la performance en particulier. À partir d’une journée d’étude organisée en mars 2023, ce numéro prolongera les échanges en ouvrant sur le rôle des pratiques langagières dans l’accomplissement des performances et/ou d’actions artistiques, la manière dont l’art contemporain considère le langage comme une ressource esthétique, les modalités d’utilisation du langage par les artistes et les militant·es dans les performances d’inspiration féministes et queer, ou encore sur l’utilisation et l’intégration des méthodes qualitatives, ethnographiques, issues du champ des sciences humaines et sociales dans les performances.
