Abstract

Les maquis de résistants dans la France occupée ont déjà fait l’objet de nombreuses publications. Mais il s’agira cette fois d’observer cette « communauté à l’épreuve » à partir d’un matériau prosopographique, en engageant une première exploitation de l’enquête nationale conduite pour le Maitron des fusillés, exécutés, massacrés, morts en actions. Il s’agira de tester l’apport de l’approche prosopographique pour préciser, nuancer, mieux saisir comment peuvent se combiner les façons de mourir dans ou autour d’un même maquis, d’un maquis à l’autre, ou selon les phases chronologiques, et d’en envisager les incidences non pas seulement à l’échelle collective large, mais également à l’échelle de groupes restreints.
