The attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterized by the impulsiveness, the fault of attention and the hyperactivity giving complications in the academic ambit and leading to possible scholastic failure. Her prevalence in children is between 3 and 5% but recent studies mark an increase to 10% in fifteen years. From here is extracted the need to the teachers should to know how detect the alarm signs and symptoms susceptible to being studied, and one time the child was diagnosed with the disorder, they 6 should to know dealing them by general guidelines and rules which decrease the symptomatology. One of four cases of scholastic failure, probably be a child with no diagnosed ADHD and, therefore, does not treated for improve the scholastic performance. For a decrease the scholastic failure in students with ADHD, it is proposed done a health education program directed to the teachers of Elementary school who work with children between 6 and 12 years ago, ages whose perceive better the disorder, of Sant Quirze del Vallès for having more knowledge and experience of ADHD. The general objective that it is expected to get is decrease the prevalence of students with the disorder in Elementary School of Sant Quirze del Vallès who presents scholastic failure. To achieve this objective, it is been designed theoretical and practical activities directed to the teachers for giving answer to the needs of the deficit of training and experience of the teachers by seminars done for a nurse, a psychologist and a teacher.
El trastorn de dèficit d’atenció i hiperactivitat (TDAH) està caracteritzat per la impulsivitat, la manca d’atenció i la hiperactivitat donant complicacions a l’àmbit acadèmic i portant a un possible fracàs escolar. La seva prevalença en edat infantil és del 3 al 5% però estudis recents marquen un augment fins al 10% en quinze anys. D’aquí s’extreu la necessitat de què els mestres sàpiguen detectar signes i símptomes d’alarma susceptibles a ser estudiats, i un cop l’infant estigui diagnosticat amb el trastorn, sàpiguen tractar-lo mitjançant unes pautes i normes generals que disminueixen la simptomatologia. Un de cada quatre casos de fracàs escolar, probablement sigui un TDAH no diagnosticat i, per tant, no tractat per a millorar el rendiment escolar. Per a disminuir el fracàs escolar en alumnes amb TDAH, es proposa realitzar un programa d’educació per a la salut dirigit als mestres de Primària que treballen amb infants de 6 a 12 anys, edat on es percep més el trastorn, de Sant Quirze del Vallès per a què tinguin més coneixements i experiència en relació al TDAH. L’objectiu general que es pretén aconseguir és disminuir la prevalença d’alumnes amb el trastorn a Primària de Sant Quirze del Vallès que presenten fracàs escolar. Per a assolir l’objectiu, s’han dissenyat activitats teòriques i pràctiques dirigides al professorat per tal de donar resposta a les necessitats de manca de formació i experiència dels mestres mitjançant seminaris realitzats per un infermer, un psicòleg i un mestre.
