Abstract

It was reported a non-described technique surgical in the world literature, used on 52 pacients with vaginal apex prolapse, evaluated along 15 years in the Gynecology Service of the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital, EsSalud. It was demonstrated that is a technique with a little difficult that puts the vagina back to her anatomical and functional position using un non reabsortent cheap material (Marlex mesh). The Marlex mesh acts similarly, to the cardinalligament or the Mackenordt and it's also used in shorts virginals. It wasn't observed either recurrence nor complications, trans o post operation. It means that its use as primary treatment would save money at our Institution as well as its diffusion at the scientific area putting on evidence, one more time, the work that our hospital makes to medicine along the history.
