Abstract

Expone el análisis de la conferencia convocada por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas. El acuerdo contiene elementos básicos para asegurar la conservación y ordenación de los peces transzonales y las poblaciones de los peces migratorios, resguardando los derechos e interes de los estados costeros. Asegura la conservación a largo plazo y el uso sostenible de las poblaciones de peces, incluyendo moluscos y crustáceos. Finalmente, recomienda el uso de normas en la pesca de altura.
