Catálogo macroalgas del lago Titicaca, sector peruano, distribución y ecología

Abstract

Expone la clasificación taxonómica, distribución, nombres comunes y ecología de las macrofitas acuáticas, componentes importantes por las funciones ambientales que ejercen dentro de los ecosistemas lacustres, entre estas, la regulación de propiedades físico químicas del agua. La presencia de estas especies en el medio acuático permite evaluar la calidad del agua debido a que ejerce la función de fitorremediación en la purificación del agua y, por ende, en la sostenibilidad del equilibrio ecológico, esto debido a la absorción, asimilación y recolección de elementos nutrientes.
