The spacers are elements that allow increase the turbulence, resulting in ion transport module an increase within the electrodialysis In this work he has built three types of spacers of different geometries and studied their effect against the mass of the ion transport. The influence of the operating parameters, voltage, flow, feed concentration of sodium chloride relativa to mass transport was studied. lt has been observad that the spacer type C is most appropriate to obtain the higher coefficient of mass transfer in the electrodialysis equipment.
