Bankacılık sektöründe performans analizi: Entropi ve Waspas yöntemi uygulaması

Abstract

The determination of the performance and profitability of the banking sector, which is the most important intermediary institution of the financial system, has become more important with the economic developments experienced in recent years. With the performance assessment, banks can make the necessary situation assessment to have a competitive advantage and use their potential according to the level of risk they can endure. In this study, deposit banks which were grouped according to criteria determined by BRSA were subjected to financial performance analysis with Entropy and WASPAS methods. In order to be original and objective, all 65 financial ratios published by TBB for banks were used in the analysis. Ultimately through the criteria determined by the Entropy method, the banks were ranked according to their groups and collectively by the WASPAS method.
