Finansal raporlama çerçevelerindeki ölçümleme esaslarının kültür kodları

Abstract

It is known that the cultural structure affects the accounting systems primarily which is a socio-economic structure that it also determines how the systems will be managed by shaping the mentality of human beings. The aim of the study which was born from this subject is to determine the cultural infrastructure of valuation principles which is one of the basis case of accounting systems. This article which was carried out with the qualitative content analysis technique is a review study in the context of theory. The cultural infrastructure of the measurement basis which was used in the financial reporting framework in Turkey were put into a table with a methodology belong to Gray's values of accounting culture and Hofstede's organizational culture and social culture at the end of the study. In addition, it has been determined with three different cultural methodology analysis that the measurement principles within the scope of “International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards” reflects the culture of “Anglo-Saxon” and the valuation principles within the scope of “Uniform Accounting System” reflects the culture of Turkish society.
